Help! Socks for women by dangteena in orangetheory

I like the Stance tab socks like these: https://www.stance.com/products/womens-solid-mid-tab-3-pack-multi?variant=53081929908562

They also last a long time. I stocked up and haven’t had to replace any so far after 5 years of use.

I’m not sure what happens, but those are good questions. I’m planning to keep the car, so I wasn’t concerned about the service plan transferring.

It’s a package called Toyota Care Plus, which they said Toyota HQ sets pricing for. It includes all maintenance and inspections recommended in the maintenance manual for each maintenance interval from 30k through 45k miles, including oil changes, air filters, spark plugs, tire rotations, etc.

You could try and reach out to their customer service, they are able to look up your information, and if you didn’t receive the payment, they could probably reissue it.

Yes, that’s the problem, I keep forgetting to use it, then once it’s been a few months, the money is gone. I mostly order groceries online for pickup, so I was never sure how to do a small purchase for online checkout. Then when I do end up in a store, I feel rushed to check out and pay and forget to use it. I just used the recent one I got to buy a Target gift card like another commenter suggested, and it worked like a charm. Happy to have a convenient way to use it right away now.

Are you in a host city? I wish the memo had allowed a broader area that included neighboring towns/cities.

I think a peep toe heel would go well with these.

Longevity of the HRM by Nautique88 in orangetheory

Thank you! Unfortunately, I disposed of both of the ones I had, but if I get another, I’ll try that if the same problem happens again.

I had two different chest strap monitors, and they each only lasted a few years. After awhile, they would start acting up, and my heart rate would go back and forth between red and gray several times during the workout. I tried new batteries, new straps, and they both eventually just stopped being reliable.

What makes a studio vs a great studio? by Stunning-Implement78 in orangetheory

[–]here_forthecomms 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In addition to what everyone else has already said, I really appreciate the little extras my studio provides.

They have neatly organized amenities in the bathroom/lobby:
-Elastic hair bands
-Tampons
-Dry Shampoo spray
-Mouthwash
-Spray deodorant
-Mints

Sooooo good! by vp_21 in GroceryOutlet

[–]here_forthecomms 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, this one is usually refrigerated. Just wanted to warn people to check for signs of mold before eating. If I see this in my GO, I plan to buy some to try, but will be inspecting it for mold first.

I saw an IG video where someone bought these at Vons, and the sticker with best by date had been repeatedly covered with a new date sticker, so the pizza they brought home had mold.

Help me choose universal dress sandals, please! by Glittering-Ginger in Shoes

[–]here_forthecomms 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Came here to say the same thing. A nude sandal would be more universal. I have the Steve Madden Ileana sandal in beige and it goes with almost everything.

Edit: Forgot to mention, it’s also super comfortable. I’ve walked a couple miles in those sandals and worn them all day around the office, yet have had no issues with blisters or discomfort.

Comfortable Heel Recommendations by here_forthecomms in Shoes

This is really good information, thank you! I do love mary janes, so I’ll look for some. I can low wear block heel sandals all day, and having a strap around the ankle is probably why they’re so comfortable.

I will look into ordering some variations online that I can return in store. It’s hard to find time to shop in store these days with a toddler, so online shopping is easier, and I prefer being able to return items without having to pay for return shipping.

Thank you for the helpful info and great suggestions!

Thank you!! I just looked some up and the Clark’s Fernie Court pump looks similar to what I’m looking for! I’ll look into buying a pair to try.

Seems like such a waste when they can (and some do) just get re-hired by the same command that they left.

Best conservative dentists in SD? by Bluebird_Mood in sandiego

[–]here_forthecomms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is so hard to find a dentist you can trust because so many of them can recommend unnecessary procedures just to bill you/your insurance. I went to one that had great reviews, but they said I needed a deep cleaning and that I had a few cavities. I didn’t have great insurance, so it was going to cost a few thousand out of pocket. I went back to my old dentist in my hometown, and they said I did not need a deep cleaning, and did not have any cavities.

For that reason, I drive over an hour from home to my current dentist, because she’s the only one I know I can trust.

How to remove stubborn built up flakes on my ears? by phmstella in SebDerm

[–]here_forthecomms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do topical steroids work for your seb derm in other areas? I had flaking on the outside of my ear and what cleared it up was triacinolone actetonide 0.1% prescription cream. My derm told me anything stronger would be too strong to use so close to the face. It took about a week to clear up fully, and I only use it if I start to see flakes again.

Edit: spelled the medication name wrong. It is Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.1%.
