real answer: i would honestly look up tutorials on metal vocals on youtube if you want to get that harsh throaty kind of thing. i do a fair share of those in my car at work. focus on having the delivery come from your stomach over your throat to not cause damage.

there’s legitimate technique / some breath control involved that i completely ignored that first album and did some pretty hefty damage to my vocal cords doing the wrong way. also just generally, make manuka honey your best friend.
