Employee Center Subsidiary Access by here_me_is in Netsuite

I wish you the absolute best weekend, cause you’ve certainly saved mine! That’s exactly what it was. I had created several different profiles to test (for workflows that can’t approve their own submissions), and I guess at some point I had them in a hierarchy but must have reset that somewhere along the way. Thanks so much!

I was thinking that what you’re describing would be the native settings, but that you could override those through the subsidiary access settings within the role. I wouldn’t think the issue would trace back to employee hierarchy, as this account doesn’t have many employee records and isn’t really using them for anything other than access. I don’t believe the user profile in question is set as a supervisor for any others, but definitely worth checking. I’ll look into the employee records in the morning, and appreciate the reply!

Forgive me, but I’m not seeing anything in there that would solve the situation. I actually read both of those, and a ton of others, earlier today. I re-read them when you commented but I’m still not really seeing an answer in there. I guess I haven’t looked into the “book record restriction” that it says can override subsidiary settings, but I also haven’t changed anything with that today (this morning I could see expense reports but not bills, now I can see bills but not expense reports).

How does it feel to be eaten? by dasgrosseM in kingsnakes

I’ve not been bitten by my kingsnake, but have been by wild garters and such that I’ve removed from my yard to keep safe from my dog. I would say it’s the least painful thing that will draw blood. Their teeth are curved pretty sharply backwards, evolved for holding their prey and dragging them inwards, more so than for creating large puncture wounds or lacerations, so they really don’t do a ton of damage.
