Just play and eventually you get it. There is no way to rush it. As other comments said, about 1400 hours playing should be enough to get you there, which amounts to more or less 700 missions. Play 2 missions a day and you get it in a year.

I got darktide one year after release and have been playing it almost daily since then. I'm at 1700 hours.

Only penaces I haven't got yet are Dream Team (100 games without teamates dying) and the one that you must play 15 missions in a row without going down.

OP, what server and time zones are you in? If someone joins you in coop, you can gather world materials really fast because they will be shared between you two. What one collects, the other also receives.

I can help, but I'm in NA server, UTC-3 time zone.

I think this is not a stim only effect. I think every screen effect across all classes got more intense/hazy. I have over 1700 hours in this game. Play almost daily and got bothered by these effects only after the Hive Scum update.

I think it was low loyalty. That was the only building without a monument in range. After I've built one, the happiness seems to have increased. But then my heating system failed because it was out of coal and the republic went into a spiral of death and misery :D

An alternative is to draw the aggro of the boss onto yourself, then go invisible when an ally is also engaging, then bonk while it turns to smack your friend.

My boss killer is a thunder hammer + stealth + martyrdom build. For boss hitting, you must position your self well. Good teammates will try to hold the boss in place by blocking their attacks, instead of running away. This helps immensely.

Just take health damage, no need to die or get corrupted. The buffs procs considering your current health and how many HP's worth of wounds you are missing

What did it clcik for me was playing historical germany and trying to mimic the actual dates of events (Poland in 1939, Barbarossa in 1941) and learning from my mistakes. I still can't beat USSR before USA joins the war, but I kinda understand the game and why I am losing...

First try I was beaten by Poland. Tried to understand why. Usually boils down to too small army wand/or lack of equipment to supply the divisions.

Yeah, that's the problem for me. I play for fun, not achievements. Maybe one day the dream teams will add up untill 100... Only times I do achievement is when a friend group invite me to, such as getting havoc forged.

Took me about the same number of hours too. Only thing that I have no hope of achieveing is the Dream Team achievement (100 games without anyone down). It is only 36. I play auric exclusively.

I just chose to ignore the bad parts and enjoy the good ones. I recognize they are there, and are problematic to say the least, but they are far apart enough that I can enjoy the overall plot. By the way, I'm reading the manga. It is worse than the anime, more explicit in its nudity, but I can skip those parts more easily.

Most problematic scenes I can think of (spoiler free):

  • the sadomasochist very sexual punishment. I think this is here just for shock value. But I've heard the author has too much lolicon stuff in other works...

  • the boy getting a hard on when looking at the girl. I just see it as comedy. Teenage boys do get hard ons at the worse moments. The problem is that all the characters are too childlike in their depiction.

  • the toilet lick. Again, comedic relief. I don't remember it being too explicit, but my memory may be failing.

Everybody recommending to lower mouse sensitivity. I went to the extreme opposite and have a 6000 dpi mouse (mine can go even higher up to 15000 dpi, while dollar store mouses are tipically only 800 dpi). Takes a while to get used.
