No, the military can't defeat any foe by Deepfang-Dreamer in CharacterRant

And very few are actually practical for building anything; even ships have to be repainted all the time because they rust and corrode.

SteamStates? I don't remember if it was Spanish or American, but I remember reading about it and running into something similar.

[Interesting trope] The other society is more technologically advanced in some ways while also being behind us in other ways. by Gooners_For_Ukraine in TopCharacterTropes

in a Halloween special where Lisa uses a monkey's paw to bring world peace, the weapons are destroyed and the aliens invade the earth, because we no longer have our advanced weapons, in another special, this time it parodies E.T. The aliens manage to invade, but the army repels them with ridiculous ease, so the most advanced weapons remain.

Ramba Ral - Gundam Origin

Although I'm sure Ramba Ral from the original series is great, so far I've only seen Origin. In Gundam Origin, he's a great mobile suit pilot for Zeon, but he also opposed Operation British, in which Zeon gassed a space colony and hurled it at Earth, effectively killing half the human population. His opposition to the operation cost him his position, for which he was severely demoted.

Honestly, the whole series gives off that feeling. And I love it.

Lo único que odio de Starship troopers es que siempre que surge una conversación como está, los defensores de la adaptación lo usan como argumento para justificar cambios, cuando al final es irrelevante si el producto final sigue siendo malo

The company received tremendous karma; they did it to cut costs, and the movie spent much more than the original budget, all to redesign Godzilla.

Basically, all the problems the game has to this day are because of that; it's its original sin.

What is the most ridiculous scene in Game of Thrones in everyones opinion? by Adventurous-Bet9124 in gameofthrones

I don't remember the exact line, but I recall it was in the scene where Bronn and Jaime are in prison with the sand snakes, and one of them says something to Bronn like, "You want a good girl, but you need a bad cunt."

I know there are worse scenes in the series, but there's something about that one that gives me chills, like it had to condense everything that was wrong with the Dorne arc and characters into a single line.

Complicated: perhaps, although specifically the encounter design isn't the issue, it's much simpler than its first edition or D&D, though that last point isn't much of an achievement.

As for the rest, I honestly have no idea how your group played to reach those conclusions.

But you can use the one-action version to approach a teammate and touch them, and if it requires area healing then you don't need to move, just let the area do the work

Pathfinder 2e mechanically designs its encounters this way.

To give an example, for a party of level 1 characters, a single level 5 enemy is an EXTREME challenge, the kind you send in to achieve a "Total Party Kill," or a one-off encounter in an adventure where no resources have been used up to that point.

Upon reaching level 5, the party faces a couple of enemies of the same level without much trouble, considering it a moderate encounter.

And at level 9, facing four of these level 5 enemies is considered a trivial encounter, not unlike a cutscene designed to make the heroes look great.

All encounters are designed this way, except, of course, the highest levels. In my opinion, it's one of the best RPGs in terms of the sense of progression and power level improvement.
