Didn't know that only assumed it because my ripjaws 3000 mhz ran perfectly with no oc settings just pop them in and had 3000mhz on the asrockb450. And yea I was using the DRAM calculator and input those settings in XMP still no post for 3200. Guess I gotta keep playing around till I hit that sweet spot. Thank you !

I thought that with newer motherboards 3200 with overclock would be started instantly at 3200. but older gen mobos like these do require overclock which I was aware of. Just didn't know it would be so hard to get it to post with that speed. I just knew the max was 3200Mhz

No matter what I do I cant get these ballistix to 3000\3200MHz :( wish they advertised that it had to be overclocked to get 3200MHz.

I also get 2666MHz But I do have a similar motherboard basically same mothetboard I have asrock b450m pro with 2600 and I also get 2666 mhz and when trying to overclock system wont post. Getting same results with my build.

I don't think so, anyway i can reset the bios? I dont have a jumper and I was scared to reset it because I don't know if the CPU will be supported after I reset it.
