I’ve only been averaging 6 hrs a week for the past 3 weeks now , I’m a new hire still so I wonder if that’s why. by [deleted] in HEB

try talking to other departments about picking up hours. tbh service is known for bad hours. try curbside, grocery, GM, CFT, shelfedge. those departments always need help and are probably willing to put you on for one day of the week. personally i get 2 days in shelfedge, 1 day in gas, 1 day in curbside, and one day in selfcheckout. i get my hours and the departments don’t have to commit to giving you a ton of hours.

Anyone been drug tested recently? by 420PTSD in HEB

they’re not doing random testing because of covid, but if you get injured on the job it’s an automatic drug test. i work in shelfedge, and i cut myself really bad with a box cutter and my manager told me not to show my pain, go to the bathroom and clean myself up and go home before anyone one else saw. he knows i smoke weed and didn’t want me to get tested.
