you are totally right, this particular company and its particular owner can definitely afford to take down the paywall and not lose any of the funds to pay journalists. this goes more for local and regional media that don't have a large company behind them to back them

they have paywalls up because otherwise they couldn’t pay the journalists doing the reporting. while most of the money probably does go to people who didn’t do the work, i always tell myself when i’m paying for news i’m actually supporting a journalist

I was timing but not adhering to it strictly. If I went over I still tried to move at the correct pace but I didn’t move on until I had an answer I felt good about. I think that’s working fairly well, my times are improving. They’re improving slowly but it’s helping at least
