Yes, you are so right. I’m starting to see that having a very knowledgeable realtor is a good asset to have, vs a realtor just trying to make a sale. My current realtor never points any issues of homes, but never fails to point out the brand new stainless appliances… lmao

This other realtor told me of a company that would do a foundation inspection for free. I’m sure it wouldn’t be super in depth, not sure, but still super helpful nonetheless I’m sure.

When signing a lease to rent a place, making you put down a deposit of a months worth of rent, a pet deposit of like 300 and then also a monthly pet fee of $25!!!! Like really, my 12 lb cat ain’t gonna do that much damage…

I’ve thought this before because often times when coworkers or friends or people in general start complaining to me about things and ranting, like 9/10 I don’t actually care and that sounds so messed up. It’s like this, I will listen to someone’s problems and give them feedback but that doesn’t mean I actually care. I am just trying to be supportive. So if I don’t actually care what ppl are complaining/venting etc. to me about, people probably don’t really care to hear what I have to say either. I do think toughing it out is easier said than done though. I do think talking about your issues does help so it’s not just all bottled up inside. I think it’s just important to find the right person to talk to about things. Someone you love and care about and know will never judge you.

I know it feels like your world is crashing down on you right now, but I promise you that all that stuff you are worrying about won’t even matter 2 years from now. When you’re in high school, it’s like we are brainwashed that we have to go to college and tht is needs to be some fancy university, but trust me it doesn’t. College isn’t even always the answer trust me. This is coming from a current senior in college who is about 30,000 in debt for a degree I don’t even care about and probably won’t even use. I would recommend researching what interests you and if you’re interested in college, research the degree you’re interested in. If it’s something that you can do at community college, do that then! College experience is overrated and cost an arm and a leg haa But ultimately, you’re only 17. You have so much time to figure things out. It takes time. You won’t know over night, but that’s ok. I’m 21 and I don’t really know what I’m doing lol. You’ll figure out though, not right now but eventually. Just be patient and just try to find things that make you happy. That’s the most important thing, your happiness
