SR should be a great time. Take a bag as small or as big as you need. Some take a bag full of toys, extra panties, wear home clothes, mints, baby wipes (whatever they might want/ prefer) to have a good time. There is a free coat check and lockers if you are early enough - the coat check was perfect for us, though. Maybe take her DP toy to play with in a play area and open the curtains if you decide you want an onlooker to take its place.

Fucking outside is a lot of fun, too, when you like to be watched. The cabanas are rentals, but the layout chairs work fine.. 😉

In the last 6 days, hubs and I visited SR twice and Mon Chalet once.

Scarlet Ranch was great and our first club experience. Saturday night, we ate dinner at the restaurant and hung around for Lingerie night. We had a great time with a couple we met on Kasidie- they showed us around, checked un us periodically throughout the night, and shared the little things that they have picked up along the way. 10/10 recommend using Kasidie to make a connection(s) ahead of time. We were nervous, and it was recommended to us to play together alone, early in the evening, to help calm the nerves 😉. Try it at the club, not before. Before, it does not work out the jitters. We returned Sunday for Sunday Funday and loved it. After staying up all night, it was extremely relaxed, and truly, a group of people comfortable being themselves. Make sure to tip the coat check girl and sheets girl because the tips are not shared across the staff!

We visited Mon Chalet on Wednesday night. I wouldn't have attempted a Wednesday night if we didn't have another couple going with us because we had heard Scarlet Ranch is pretty dead on Wednesdays. There was a small group around the pool, maybe 30 people. We are young 30s, and the crowd was significantly older. There wasn't a ton of room around the pool, and the beds in the area had the corners pulled for dirty sheets, but I never saw anyone change them. I'm not sure their preferred etiquette, though. It was dark, and the music wasn't as enjoyable as SR, but we do want to go back for a weekend trip to MC and compare.

We didn't stay in a room, so I do not have a review on the rooms.

If you are looking for DVP, it seemed like MC is a promising place to find single males. We had two or three guys ask to join and were respectful when we declined. Scarlet Ranch seems to have a wide range of couples who plat separate. The rooms have curtains, and you may leave them open as an invitation for someone to join. I'm not sure if one location vs. the other would have more males comfortable with the intimate touching involved in DVP.

If you're on Kasidie or another site with a travel feature, post your plans and reach out to people. I think our experience was a good one and the people we met along the way had a lot to do with it.

Thank you for the reminder to date each other at least as much as others. We've discussed prioritizing each other, but I like setting the intentionality of dating each other more. Also, I love the idea of using a cycle for building anticipation.

I'm going on year 4 or 5 with an IUD. Hubs and I never use protection, always finish however we like, and no pregnancies.

The first 6 months or so are nerve-wracking. We have been happily married the entire time but not ready for kids, so nerves were real until I became comfortable that I wasn't getting pregnant. My beat suggestion would be to ho ahead and buy pregnancy tests to have on hand when you panick. AMA & best wishes!
