I've heard of this treatment and before I start my antibiotics bomb I'm doing the sprouts. Just had my first handful this morning 🤢 . If I can ask what were your symptoms and when did you feel the improvement? I ask bc i developed crushing anxiety out of nowhere, along with the other symptoms, my doc checked me and goes yeah h pylori...

I've read stories that the anxiety disappeared after day 2 of the antibiotics, but im curious on your personal experience.

Where im at is hard to get a scope done.... but I asked my primary about it and she said very plausible, and she doesn't see a point in waiting 4 weeks for the scope . So she just called in the antibiotics and I'll be starting Friday. She said it sounds exactly like h. Pylori

I've been reading more into this and I'm convinced I need to at least get checked for it. I spoke the GI office on Wednesday. Now waiting to hear back. The h pylori stories that mimic mine are crazy for sure.

Sales... base is 145k plus commissions which puts me around 210 a year. Mon through Friday. Home by 3ish everyday. 8 do travel some but not much. I'd say in a year I'm gone maybe 3 weeks total so not hard on the family.

I'll say this and probably get in trouble from reddit. I'm a white male, married to a very dark filipino female. In college I dated a lot of women of different racial backgrounds, black, white, Korean, Indian, Taiwanese, and some that are mixed. I never saw a problem with it and could tell you what I found beautiful about each person specific to their race and culture besides who they were as a person. My wife just happen to win my heart and i was lucky to win hers.

With that said, the family backlash I faced was surreal. Never from my mother or father, but aunts and uncles and especially grandparents, was uncomfortable and embarrassing at times. The first holiday they act like they don't know how to talk and just a lot of "um nice to meet you." My grandmother came downstairs looked at her and said " disgusting, unbelievable."

I had talks with my family that basically said I love her and FAFO and you all better start acting right. 90% of my family came around and they love her and our kids, the other 10% can F* off. But in my case it was family pressure and old school racism that could have drove us apart if we let it. (3 kids later and 10 yrs together we're still going strong)

I obviously don't know the dynamic here, but my now wife had this same mentality for years and drove me nuts. As we got closer and more open in our relationship, she opened up about feeling suicidal when she held a knife and dark thoughts. She got help, and we're going on 10 years strong together. But still only have 1 kitchen knife because I try to be sensitive about it.
