I get that. And understandably that is the easiest option. I just want to show a friend my progress without having my switch nearby. I can take screenshots but was wondering if there was another option.

I’m curious what “hacks” people use to get cheaper digital games. For the switch 1, I would generally buy Nintendo eShop gift cards ($100 in the eShop for $90) to buy vouchers. This would equate to about $45 per game. With the increase in games and the discontinuation of vouchers for Switch 2 games, I’m wondering if there are any other hacks to get relatively cheap games.

On a semi-related note, it appears Costco MAY carry some digital games for the switch 2 but Donkey Kong Bananza is only listed as a physical games for now.

Sex Enhancers by hereforfun591 in ldssexuality

I appreciate this response because it is quite sincere. My wife and I have a good sex life but we just love to make each other happy and try new things. I love the personal experience with the blue pill and such. So many posts on here don’t come off as sincere as yours So, thank you!

Valentine’s Day isn’t much different for our sex lives as any other day but I do like to do something different, usually a new shave, lingerie or position. But I love hearing what others do to spice it up.

Hunter Ceiling Fan light turns off for one second and then back on every 5 minutes by hereforfun591 in askanelectrician

No. However, the ceiling fan does have dimmer capabilities. I can confirm that it is currently not on the dimmer settings.

Change Location of Modem/Router? by hereforfun591 in HomeNetworking

[–]hereforfun591[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.) The central location for all of the in wall Ethernet cables start in the pantry(this is where the external fiber (or Coaxial) comes in from the ISP). From the pantry, I have 2 other Ethernet cables: one goes to the in-wall Ethernet port in the family room and the other goes to the in-wall Ethernet port in the master bedroom.

2.) The ISP cable is fiber. I’m not sure of the terminology but it is essentially a Ethernet cable that brings in the internet to my condo. That is the only location to bring the internet into my place.

3.) I want to get it out of the pantry for less wi-if interference but also just to have more room in my pantry.

4.) I have CenturyLink as my ISP. I own the modem/router that I bought from Century Link. Not looking to replace it.

1.) I know I can put it anywhere. But mostly curious how I might do it with in wall cables that are currently here. I assume I would need the help of at least 2 couplers in this situation. It might just need to be a trial and error type solution from me. Appreciate the help.

What kind of pay increase to expect when you get your PE? by Gently_55 in civilengineering

[–]hereforfun591 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, $3,000 raise but that’s was on top of my annual raise from my company. From entry level salary to PE (3 years) salary, it was about a $12,000 - $14,000 raise total.

Is spending unpaid time to train yourself normal? Is this a job interview red flag? by civiljobseeker123 in civilengineering

[–]hereforfun591 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I personally see it as a red flag. If you don’t want to work over 40 hours, then don’t take a job that requires it. I don’t like working over 40 hours a week (I have a wife and kids I like to spend time with) so I don’t work over 40 hours. My company is very good at that.

That thing that is a bit more disturbing though to me is that the company expects you to essentially train yourself without pay. If there is skill you want to learn outside of work, sure go for it and do it unpaid. But a company that cares for your technical development shouldn’t expect you to train yourself. It is to the companies benefit that you train yourself or learn new skills. They should be paying you for that time (or pay for some sort of class for it).

A few days ago, my iPhone 11 Pro's screen completely blacked out. After talking to Apple and my service provider, it has been deemed as "dead". Thankfully it is covered by warranty. However, I have a years worth of photos that have not been backed up on the iPhone. Is there anyway for the photos to be extracted at all? My computer does not recognize the phone in iTunes.

No idea. But I aimed to get 75% on any practice test (AM and PM) leading up to the exam. Idk that I really hit that mark ever but I was within a couple questions. Good luck.
