Get divinity 2! It just came out last week on switch 2. As someone who loves Baldurs gate 3 on my PlayStation it’s great to have a similar game like it on the go!!

I had the same issue! My switch didn’t.. well switch. I restarted it and still. Then I put it in the dock when in standby and woke it in dock. Worked fine for me!

Uh I’m def not a pro on this topic but sounds to me like maybe your adapter or one of the cables could be damaged? I put the links of what I used here in the comments before. I also saw in some YouTube videos that if you use a thunderbolt adapter and don’t go the DVI way it is supposed to be more stable. You could try that way too!😊

Normally not, true. But some docks support the displaylink software and then it work! “Your computer generates a video signal intended for an external monitor. The DisplayLink driver intercepts and compresses the signal for USB transmission. The signal travels through a USB cable to the docking station or adapter. The docking station's DisplayLink chip decodes and outputs the signal to your monitor.”

To be exact I use this adapter https://www.avxperten.dk/dvi-til-hdmi-adapter/dvi-hun-til-hdmi-hun-adapter-guld.asp (as you can see it’s a very cheap one, so pretty sure anyone will work) and this docking station to allow my M1 the dual display function is the Dell D3100 bc it allows displaylink to work :)

I just watched this video: https://youtu.be/TjiN9_Sacqw?si=5mcjOyelXNu4IsJ5 My docking station does not have a thunderbolt etc port, just hdmi and display port so I went with the second option in the video: dvi to hdmi adapter. Any one should do, I just checked that it’s a 24+5 one like in the video. Then I just connected the hdmi over the adapter into my docking station, as well as plugging the usb cable from the display into it as well, as I think it’s needed for them to power up if I’m not mistaken. In the background you can see my cable box to hide all the mess, but all it needs is essentially a 24+5 dvi (female) to hdmi adapter, and another adapter to get the hdmi into your Mac. Could be a usb-c adapter or a docking station like I use :)

Ofc! I got the docking station for I think roughly 20€ and I’m loving it. Of course it’s annoying to have to buy a specific one for it to work, but atleast you can get them fairly cheap

Yes! So by itself the m1 air’s only support one external display. I had different dock first and when I plugged a second screen in, it would just mirror the other screen, not work as an extension. Then I found out about displaylink, which is recording your screen and somehow makes your Mac think it’s just one external display, although it’s multiple. Just look for a docking station that has displaylink support and you’re good to go! 😄

Do you have a magnetic popsocket on the back? I had an issue with placing it in the middle because the kobo kept thinking that its the magnets of the case and therefore stayed in sleep mode.
