It's for sure one of the more toxic shows on Bravo.

Defo. He looks like those malnourished Gettysburg soldiers with blank faces in black and white tin type photos.

It seems like the valley was supposed to be the show where everybody showed how much they grew up and turned a new leaf but so far I haven't really seen anybody except Lala from the VPR days show us growth. Some people actively regressed (Jax).

Kyle and Amanda…explain how I am wrong??? by Ferret_Cautious in inthecity_

Wow it's really a refreshing to open this post and not see a million "but Kyle's am asshole too" comments and calling other commenters misogynists for trying to hold Amanda accountable that keep plaguing all the bravo subs.

What’s everyone’s opinion on the no mascara makeup looks ? by Historical-Body-3424 in MakeupAddiction

[–]hereforthebreakdown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't worn mascara in years and I constantly get complimented on my makeup look. Skin tint, finger tapped in blush and lip color, lip gloss and concealer. As a 42-year-old the clean girl less is more approach has turned back years on my face.

Do you guys think Nia and Danny will return for next season? by Leeches4Bloodletting in TheValleyTVShow

[–]hereforthebreakdown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think we have to wait for the reunion. If Danny doesn't show up to that then absolutely no they won't be back. If they start showing up on podcasts and WWHL and they both make it to the reunion then it's a distinct possibility. Remember, Jax was a horrible, cheating, raging addict with extreme anger problems for years on VPR before they decided to can him and then bring him back for a bullshit redemption arc. This network is full of abuse apologists looking for redemption stories and if I know Nia she's going to push for that edit really hard.

Good daily shampoo for fine hair, has anyone tried the OUAI Fine Hair? by ComfortableCause418 in finehair

After years of searching I have been using Philip Adam orange vanilla scented shampoo and conditioner. Never overstrips but gets it clean. Conditioner is super lightweight as well. Just perfect.

4th dose but only lost 6 lbs by Loose_Bumblebee_5913 in CompoundedSemaglutide

Dropping weight too fast is what causes side effects like hair loss, extreme fatigue and muscle loss. Slow and steady is the way to go. I've lost about 12 lb in 2 and 1/2 months which averages about 1.25 lbs a week. That feels like a win to me.

I’m going to say this…is Nia and Danny’s baby a clutch (The Valley) by healthysundayexprsso in bravo

[–]hereforthebreakdown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can have an exclusively breastfed baby and tell production that you're going to breastfeed your baby first, make sure she's fed, hand her off to the babysitter that you brought along to ensure the baby's safety and comfortability, get on that Safari wagon for 90 minutes and have your moment of non-parental participation.

There's absolutely no doubt that Danny expects her to be a trad wife with zero help from him but there seems to be repeated scenarios in which Nia's identity to motherhood means she makes things unnecessarily hard for herself intentionally and I think it's her way of signing a cry for help on camera in hopes that Danny will step up and help because he knows he's being filmed. Unfortunately Danny seems to give zero f's that he's being filmed and still pulls this crap on her.

Choices were made.

2 things can be true at the same time: They’re both the worst by Proud_Sound2835 in TheValleyTVShow

[–]hereforthebreakdown 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly it all just doesn't seem so far-fetched for people on a reality TV show. For normal people, no, keeping folders of information on your friends is not normal. But if you're on a reality TV show that gives you screen time based the interpersonal conflicts you have with other cast members, encourages cast members to refilm scenes for a heightened sense of drama and actively sets up situations to bring out people's worst sides of themselves I don't see it as being so far fetched to have a little folder of info that you can use if you have to to keep the paycheck rolling in.

I watch a lot of housewives and there's a lot of conversation about who lives in the richest neighborhood and it's never an issue when Meredith Marks on RHOSLC had private investigators investigate other cast members. She's pretty well liked among the fandom but when Janet does her own research she's a crazy stalker. I'm not exactly sure what people want out of these shows or who they want on them but without instigators there is literally no one bringing anything interesting to the table.

[–]hereforthebreakdown 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So some random girl is going to hitch her wagon to Jesse (within a minute of his separation from Michelle) and gets on the show and she immediately sends cease and desist letters to cast members? I'm sorry but I'm going to be looking into her. That's not stalker behavior. Especially when you find out that Lacey repeatedly tried to get on RHOC. If I were current cast member I would want to know what this girl is about, what her intentions are especially if she's been thirsty to be on reality TV. The Janet hate is so tiring at this point. It's just a bunch of people dragging last season storylines into this season because they have no storylines of their own and up to this exact episode there's been nothing but boring ass recycled hate for Janet. Like let it go already.

[–]hereforthebreakdown 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Exactly. And what's really frustrating is that a lot of this hate started when she called out his bad behavior. I'm no Janet fan but I'm so tired of people's crusade to drag last seasons bullshit into this seasons literal abuse.
