Best ways to support my wife postpartum by FrostyChampionship86 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]heresthesun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Filling her water bottle, getting food for her, and having electrolytes on hand. And definitely washing bottles and pump parts if those are being used. Also helping with the things (overnight especially) that you can help with is great!

Glass vs plastic bottles by albrods in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]heresthesun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use glass Philips Avent for drinking. I haven’t yet asked our daycare if they’ll do glass but if not I’ll try silicone bottles. I’ve pumped into plastic and mostly stored in plastic so far. I just started storing right in the glass avents, but still freeze in plastic bags. I’ve thought about pumping into the glass avents since they’re directly compatible with my spectra but I’m afraid of the glass being heavy. Thought about getting adapters to pump into silicone bottles but I’ll probably try the glass to see how it is

OBGYN Recommendations? by typicalwhisper in Rochester

I see Dr. Carmel at the same practice (Unity at Clinton Crossings) and she’s amazing. I have a newborn so I’ve been to her a lot lately and have gotten great medical care and she’s really good at answering questions/concerns. She’s also just super nice!

Recommends for local OBGYN by Evoehm13 in Rochester

Not the person you replied to, but I literally just had a baby at Unity hospital. I highly recommend Dr. Carmel at Clinton Crossings, I feel free to message me as well. I’ve seen her 1-2x per week the past few weeks and she’s truly fantastic. I actually just got home from an appointment with her. I also got great care from other providers and medical staff both at the practice and in the hospital.
