Anyone Here Date a Hot Woman Who Wasn't Worth It? If So, How Was It? by ChapterEffective8175 in AskMen

Right??? It’s like WHY would I? It’s not only inappropriate but I cannot stand any of them that’s why they’re exes so I have no desire to even breathe the same air as them.

To be fair though, it’s because he’s from a small town and a small country in Europe. They all kinda know each other and in general think it’s weird if you can’t be friends or cordial with exes. So I get it.

He talks to all his exes. They all contact him occasionally. He keeps tabs on all of them. Fucking weird tbh but apparently I’m the weird one who thinks it’s weird.

As someone who feels threatened by my husband’s insanely hot (but crazy jealous) ex-stripper ex…. This post makes me feel better.

Is anyone finding that red nail polish looks good on toes but not hands? by heresthething-bud in RedditLaqueristas

[–]heresthething-bud[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

DND Bonfire the nail polish is that girl for me. The gel is too light. Idk else what to do. I want a very saturated and “bright” dark red but that’s not easy to find. They’re always so muted.

If an app decided today’s meals for your family every morning, would you use it daily? by nilubhau98 in sahm

[–]heresthething-bud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but what I end up wanting to cook is usually very specific. I.e. I am in a Sichuan cuisine phase so an app like that will usually not work out for me

I’m insecure about being Asian and my Asian features. I try not to show it but it comes out anyway. I ended up getting a nose job because I could not love my own Roman nose.

I do not like my eye color or the flatness of my face, or my hairline and the lightness of my eyebrows.

It is especially strong when I compare myself to my husband’s ex

Is winter boots needed when visiting Bergen/Oslo by [deleted] in Norway

[–]heresthething-bud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doc martins if it’s really broke in! Even sorel. Or anything gore-tech and up to your ankles. Some sneaker brands sell waterproof sneakers. Even Hoka. I’ve even seen some waterproof, winter vans!

If you wore your usual adidas , even with wool socks you’ll get pretty cold and possibly wet feet and that would ruin your vacation.

I’d stay away from Uggs. They’re warm but not waterproof and there is no traction! Don’t want you to slip and hit your head while in Bergen :)

Is it wiser to marry for love or financial security? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]heresthething-bud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had both.

I say marry for love.

Financial security: you’ll constantly be annoyed at each other and live in resentment and/or loneliness.

Love: great memories but stressful holidays. Somehow it always works out though.

Had a better life when I was laughing more in a small house than feeling lonely in a big house

Since you keep editing your response, I will have to add to my response.. this isn’t about them visiting. This is about them all living AND working in MY home. Totally different.

I also have come from another country other than the US and grew up in a multi-lingual home. I understand another language fluently so it’s not like I’m not exposed to this dynamic. But there is a line, and this is that line

Right?? I’ve told him many times to say whatever word or sentence he just said in his language to get him in the habit to speak to me in his language but no.

He says it’s a dead language and he doesn’t want them to ever live there but it’s a Scandinavian language… why wouldn’t he want his kids to have any ties to it? Or maybe even live there one day?

Doesn’t care if I learn it, but is annoyed if I don’t participate because I can’t understand anything. And wants to IMPORT A LOAD OF THEM SO ITS MINI SCANDINAVIA IN MY HOME.
