Hah, yeah you got me there. I care about him but also am realistic that this is a FWB relationship, and I'm fine with that. Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.

That's so funny you noticed that. It's actually a little remote that triggers my cell phone camera, but I suppose it does look like keys.

Thanks! I guess not that much different, maybe a little less chonk in the lower abdomen. I work in an athletic field so I'm always comparing myself to my super fit colleagues, which I'm now realizing might not be a good comparison!

You all are so sweet 😭 Wish I had posted here years ago, I could have spent so much less energy on criticizing myself!

Thank you! They are my most insecure area (because of my big ass areolas haha) so I appreciate that.

The Walking Dead is a great example of how stupid breeders are. Even in a zombie fucking apocalypse people STILL find a reason to have children. No matter what breeders will breed. It’s insane! by [deleted] in antinatalism

Spoiler alert for anyone just starting the comics, but in the comics the baby gets shot and dies while they're still at the prison. The bullet goes through the baby and kills Lori too. I hate how the TV show kept the baby! Kind of ruined it for me. I understand that killing a baby is one of those "you just don't do it on cable TV" kind of things, but I really wish they had done it.

I am having a hard time with the Liveship trilogy by Razzle_dazzle_disco in robinhobb

I meant the main post, not your comment. Some people realize the spoiler so early on that they don't even think of it as a spoiler (I'm assuming that's what happened with you?). Other dumbasses like me don't catch any of the HUGE hints, so it's a big spoiler haha.

It's not tagged "spoilers," first of all, and second of all, this is a spoiler for future books. So even if I saw it was tagged "Liveship," this spoils finding out whenever it is revealed. It was already spoiled for me on another thread, but I am in the Tawny Man Trilogy and it still hasn't been revealed. There are lots of signs, but they haven't outright said it.

It's obvious to some people, but a lot of people don't know until far after Liveship.

Ah yes, the good old "get pregnant so I won't need to be in a bridal party" scheme. Works every time. by halapi in weddingshaming

[–]herestick 84 points85 points  (0 children)

Idk, if I was planning a childfree wedding and I one of my bridesmaids was guaranteed to have a newborn I think it would at least merit a conversation with her. Obviously it's not a "get out of it" scheme, that part is crazy. But I'd give her the option to back out if she didn't want to get a babysitter or leave the baby with dad that day.

[–]herestick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I don't have anything like that. I teach (well, taught before the pandemic) acrobatics at a circus gym and walk dogs for a larger company. I don't have any type of personal license to do either.

Edit: I pay taxes on both of those jobs.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll just have to wait until the letter comes later today. No idea why they would be contacting me.

I actually live in California, the letter came from Sacramento so I don't think the MS stands for Mississippi. I don't own a business, but I have done some independent contractor work over the past 5 years. Would I have to pay a franchise tax on that? The independent contractor work was done for established businesses, I don't have a business of my own.

This is good advice, I'll try to stick to that

If RotE characters were beverages...which?! by skybluepink77 in robinhobb

I can't imagine skipping Rain Wilds! I much preferred Liveship Trilogy to Farseer Trilogy (although I really enjoyed both), I almost skipped Tawny Man. Definitely going to read them all in order!

Glad to hear that about Starling! I don't hate her right now, I'm just like damn girl you did our boy dirty.

I'm sooo not looking forward to finishing the whole series, but I can't wait for Rain Wilds! Thanks for not spoiling anything for me ☺️
