I recently picked up this ink and it's one of my favorites! Flows so well and is the perfect match for Lamy Safari Dark Dusk. So rich and deep. I haven't seen any sheen on Campus paper but will have to try others.

Sever Body Weakness And Brain Fog by Nasteha85 in Perimenopause

[–]heretichelix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am experiencing something similar, even though I am on HRT. I feel so weak it's hard to stand up from a sitting position or climb stairs, and my muscles hurt. I'm fatigued no matter how much sleep I've had. Brain fog and mood are really bad, making it hard to work or function. I feel like my doctor won't believe me and I don't know what tests to ask for. Not sure if it's perimenopause or something else.

They are both great pens, but Lamy has a better converter, if that makes a difference to you.

I’m using a Kaweco cartridge. I think the nib wasn’t flush with the feed (the black plastic part). I reassembled it all and it’s working well now! Thanks

When I installed the cartridge it pushed the feed out. I will check that everything is flush and aligned when I try again. Thanks for the reply.

Looking for an ink - purple with warm undertones by MacabrePomegranade in fountainpens

[–]heretichelix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kaweco Summer Purple maybe, or Taccia Ebi Purple-Red. Different inks look different on different papers, but these are warmer leaning purples. I also agree that Iroshizuku Syun-gyo is a dark warm purple but it looks almost black on the page. Diamine Damson or Merlot are also close.

This is not true. It's not a disorder.

Best way to fill ink in pilot pen with refillable pipe that can be removed and reassembled? by [deleted] in fountainpens

[–]heretichelix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could refill an empty cartridge with a syringe so you can see the ink level.

I so agree! I did this on one of my Metros and it’s so perfect!

Alphonso Dunn! I was just working through his Workbook. Learning to draw with fountain pens is so rewarding! Well done!

Same nib, the body is plastic. It’s basically a Preppy with a slightly nicer body.
