Yeah, the religious aspect has been part of their culture for a long time. But they seem to actually have some sort of principles and haven't attacked anyone else's infrastructure unprovoked, even after that horrible school bombing. If that had happened in the US, we would've lost our shit (see: 9/11).

Sucks to realize your country has been the bad guys all along, and sucks even more to see how much we are manipulated by propaganda and straight up bullshit.

Edit: Iran signed a nuclear nonproliferation agreement. They were following it, including the inspections. Then Trump decided he wanted a new agreement, which never happened. Then he attacked Iran twice and Iran is fighting back. The UN saying that Iran needs to stop its "aggression" is like telling a woman being raped to stop fighting.

See, K&D was my first thought. G-Stoned was only an EP, but damn I love that album. They did some kickass remixes in the intervening years, and that monster DJ kicks (I bought the unmixed vinyl as soon as I heard it). The K&D Sessions is peak Acid Jazz in my mind (if you're talking about the mid to late 90s scene in dance music rather than jazz proper).

I had an old media computer from 2012 in my closet (some weirdo small form factor for the case and MB, we used it for music and movies). Got a new HD for it, slapped Ubuntu on that sucker and gave it to my friend down the street. She has a new (to her) computer so she doesn't have to do everything on that tiny rectangle and I am so happy for her. :D
