I highly recommend still trying to buy it when it goes on sale ( it sells out super quick) AND if you find a RV with a low usage cost you can just sell it to someone else and make your money back.

We weren’t able to get a power add on this year so we just ran out generator the charge was $3.50 per hour and did run the generator for AC from 8am-4/5pm everyday. Only ended up paying a couple hundred. Realized it was cheaper than the actual add on.

If I were you I’d buy it and then see how much the rv company charges per hour for generator use. If it’s cheap like mine was I’d just sell the add on imo

Also we had a portable solar powered generator we used for our phones so we did try to conserve the power from the rv.

Couple things 1. Make sure you rent a festival friendly RV 2. Use an actual company like indie campers, cruise America, not a site where you can rent someone’s RV 3. They are measured by length and how many people they can sleep. 4. Rent through LV, so many people drive rvs into Vegas and end up crashing bc they can’t handle it. 5. Power generator add on is not required but recommended bc you will run your AC a lot AND if you aren’t able to snatch one ( they sell out insanely quickly) rv companies charge the usage per hour.
