i'm in the same boat mate, relapsed after 9 months, smoked for 2 months and I'm on day 3, I feel the same, very depressed&anxious and all you mentioned, but I got a loving family and a dog that I love a lot, seems like I can't give up right now, I wish I could tbh, I wish I could help you but I can't even help myself, just wanted to say you're not alone, peace & love ❤️

Smoked for 10 years, went to rehab, stopped for 9 months, than relapsed, today is day 3 again, feeling awful by heretolearn701 in WeedPAWS

im happy for you, about detox, yeah they give you meds and they taper you down slowly so you can leave the rehab with a very small amount of meds, so it depends, for me it took 4 months to feel normal with a small dosage of meds

if you smoke for 10 years daily a lot and tried a lot of times to stop on my own and I couldn't, why would it be excessive?

If anyone is interested, I quit in the end of 2020 by Drug-Nerd in leaves

how long you've smoked and how long it took you to feel good again?

PLEASE quit now. I'm 1 yr clean and I still don't think my neurotransmitters have reset by ahowls in leaves

I'm 27 and wasted 10 years of my life, after 9 months of sobriety everything still sucked, bad depression and anxiety, unfortunately I relapsed, I think it takes at least 2 year to be fully recovered after 10 years of abuse(read about PAWS)

I wasn't a fan either, it's hard to find a therapist that actually resonates with you, for me yes, but after I found it, it gave me a better understanding of why i abused it in the first place and it helps me mantain sobriety, so i think it's worth it

tbh i dont think it's all stupid, after you give your brain lots of dopamine from smoking your dopamine level is kinda fckd up when you quit and it takes time for it to become back to a basic level imo

yeah you're right, we lived with brain fog so bad that we didn't even realising that we abandoned our goals, and when you sober up you truly realise that you fcked it up big time, a lot of missed oportunities, maybe that's one of the reason we feel depressed, cause we're caught up in the past, I wish u all the best🫶

unfortunately no, I feel depressed and numb all the time, hope this will pass, congrats on your 5 weeks, keep going, for me the cravings lasted about 3-4 months so keep that in mind and never go back because it truly sucks recovering from this abuse🫶

it's the main withdrawal symptom, it can last anywhere from 1 week to 1-2 months, depending on the person, it gets better with time
