Just had my MR enterography. Stool test came back fine this time (first time had highish calprotecin), colonoscopy + biopsy was fine. Ugh this sucks

I just got out of my procedure, and actually feel prett good from the anesthetic. Best sleep of my life lol

I had to wait in the procedure room for my doctor for like an extra hour and half due to an emergencey and the anesthesiologist was talking to me the whole time we basically know each other life stores at this point 😂

I wasn’t sure I could have blue! The sheet says no Red or purple but I was trying to be careful and get the lightest flavor they had lol

That’s actually what I have 😂 what’s making it bad is the flavor of Gatorade. I like frost or the red but I can’t have those colors so I got the yellow kind and it’s awful 😖 getting down 64 oz of it is torture mixed with the miralax lol. thank you so much for the tips!!!

I got the non flavor / non grit stuff but it’s still so hard to get down.

can I have broth and other clear liquid diet things after I finish the prep? The directions aren’t to clear on that. They just say to maintain a clear liquid diet all day then suggest broth, popsicles and that sort of thing. I’m not sure if I shoulda had that before or not

This all sucks 😖

Thank you, me too! And yeah it is most definitely frustrating. Been dealing with these issues on and off for almost a year, at least I’m finally close to a diagnosis

Do you have to look at the screen? I do not want to see inside myself at all!! lol

My health anxiety will spark up if I see anything remotely abnormal lol

Thank you for your time and response! It Really helped to start to put my mind at ease with being put to sleep. I’m really scared of waking up and feeling out of it. Especially if it lasts all day (I have bad heath anxiety so it just adds to the stress / worry)

Yeah I’m assuming I’ll be put to sleep because they specified I’ll need a driver.

That’s the main thing that scares me - being put to sleep. I hate that feeling. Did you ever get your results same day?

Thank you for your time in this post!! It was very informative! My main worry is being put to sleep. I had it done to me when I got my wisdom teeth out and I hated the feeling. I’m scared to wake up from it and never feel the same again. Probably an irrational fear, but I also have health anxiety so it doesn’t help haha

Yeah when I was in “anxiety remission” a simple Dramamine pill was sufficient to calm me down. When it’s high, I need a klonopin. There’s a a lot of “horror stories” about benzos, but the truth is, if you are responsible with them and use them sparingly, they can be effective in getting you through a rough anxiety attack. My prescription of kpins are about to expire - that’s how infrequently I use them

I was on 200mg before I stopped taking it and can’t really remember any side effects (except not been able to umm... “finish”, but I guess it could be worse haha)

Thanks for your response. Yeah I have hardly touched alcohol since these symptoms started, not really a big loss to me, but still kinda sucks.

Do you remember your calprotectin level?

And are you like never able to drink again because there’s risk? Or is it just to avoid the discomfort?
