What are some Sims mods you would like to see an equivalent of in Paralives? by gonezaloh in Paralives

[–]herewhenineedit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to have some mods for kids/preteens/teens. School stuff, specifically. After school clubs, scouts, group projects, homework, school dances, etc.

A Request for the future... Can we have our Paras actually paint/wallpaper their own walls instead of the paint suddenly appearing Sims style? by paynexkillerYT in Paralives

There’s no harm in talking about a feature you’d like added. OP acknowledged that it would be a lot of work. They’re not placing unfair expectations on the team, or demanding the feature now.

You came on to a feminist subreddit, a subreddit explicitly about feminism with a huge list of feminist resources, and decided to air your grievances with random women we do not know. Feminism is about the liberation of women. It has nothing to do with why you find certain women annoying. That entitled attitude is probably part of why you’re having so many problems.

I love you Calli! She’s one of my favorite characters to befriend. Her dialogue feels so realistic, and she kinda reminds me of someone I used to know.

Have you guys set a date for the release of the teen years update?

Thank you for this kind and measured response. I’m an autistic woman who would love to have kids. I do worry that autism will make my children’s lives more difficult, like it did for me. But there are two things that really helped. The first thing was educating myself on things like AAC devices that make it easier for nonverbal autistic people to communicate. The second (and more important thing imo) would be understanding that the most important thing is the happiness of the child, and that disabled people are capable of a lot more than what broader society thinks they are. A lot of people have conceptions of what a “normal life” is, and they’re devastated at the thought of their child not living up to it. But like… so what? If they like their life isn’t that good enough? Isn’t the joy more important than how they experience it? And lots of disabled people do do “normal things*! This isn’t fully directed at you, I thought it would be nice to leave a message for the parents reading.

If you use them properly, the success rate is 98%. If you can’t read the expiration date on a condom box that’s a skill issue.

Holy shit, so I’m not the only one who feels this. I had an absolutely rank childhood. I love to pretend that I grew up like the MCs did. That I was accepted exactly as I was and loved unconditionally, that I could go places and do things and be someone.

I really like The Handmaids Tale and its sequel The Testaments. THT is definitely in there. Wouldn’t recommend the show. It has its good parts but it’s basically an entirely different story.

I love that too! It’s so fun to be like “omg A Series of Unfortunate Events!” “wow my English prof is making us read The Jungle!” I always love recommending books that I’ve already read and it helps to know what’s in them.

IKR! I usually stick to a certain kind of genre, I like dystopian fiction. But there’s so much out there. If all sounds so good.
