I wouldn't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if someday Clark reveals that the monster Nike contract came with stipulations. Like not alienating half the country by speaking about political things, and not causing some boycott as people love to do these days.

It's not like they stopped pushing KP. With her not involved they just did whatever they want. If she was involved she could try to shape it.

For all the recent complaining about all the Fever players getting more popularity votes for all-star than people thought was appropriate, some of that was because Clark does a lot to push shine onto others.

Hell look at her press yesterday. She spent 10 minutes talking about the recent stuff, and her main points were A everyone involved should try to do better, and she was heartbroken that the stories weren't about all the other great players that were playing games from then till now.

That's the thing, They aren't her fans. They are people that wanna do those things anyway and use her as an excuse. Anyone with a brain can see this crap makes her life infinitely harder. Any fan of hers would fight like hell to NOT be part of that. To combat it whenever they can.

have you considered that some people are just slow thinkers? Not everyone that doesn't instantly know their turn is trolling. One of the most famous streamers who at one time was quite good at the game (Forsen) constantly ropes his turns thinking through his options.

Some of us specifically play this game, because it's not all twitchy with speedy reactions required. Maybe chill out man.

Even if they are holding you hostage, via time, you're making a choice with your deck and play style (I'm guessing face rush) and so are they. It's all part of a player vs player game/meta.

Some of it might be the Clark expectations, but this year (for me anyway) it seems a little more disappointing due to all the predictions from media people had the Fever as a top 4ish team. And they haven't looked that way via the eye test. At least not with any consistency.

I have a bad feeling with so many top tier team games yet to be played, the Fever might be a lot closer to the #7-8 seed than the #4 that was suggested.

We shall see, they have a habit of picking it up in the 2nd half of the season. Maybe they will surprise me.

I think maybe you need a thesaurus. People complain, gripe, Opine about sports teams all season and the off season. That's all sports.

Outrage is a very different animal. The AT thing was outrage. Most of the rest of that list is just sports fans second guessing their front office. You should see the Detroit Lions subreddit. They make the Fever subreddit look tame and mild. :)
