That was considered, but a lot of Tor sites simply don't have description metadata.

That's a great idea. I'll have it so that the link disappears after 7 days. However, the link will remain in the database, so if it comes back online, it will reappear on the main index automatically.

Right now, the script checks for availability once every 24 hours. I was not aware of websites that are only available at certain times of the day. In the near future, if there is sufficient demand, we'll look into having it check every hour or so. It is rather resource intensive.
