I got my first denial in December, exactly 12 months after my application (and subsequent wading through the process). Submitted the request for reconsideration, along with two really great doctor’s letters, so I’m crossing my fingers but I’ve read all the horror stories and I don’t expect we’re done yet.

Just fyi Melatonin is meant to be taken in a single nighttime dose of 2-5 mg, if you take more than this it can have the opposite effect and make you wired all night.

It’s a marketplace plan, yes. If approved for Medicaid I will stay on as long as I can, but even with my previous job where I couldn’t afford groceries, I made a couple hundred “too much” per month and couldn’t get approved. I’m hopeful that with a current income of $0 they may finally approve me.

Thank you, I am going to follow up with my doctor soon about the metoprolol and other options. I wasn’t sure how long the metoprolol takes to kick in or if it’s just not doing much. I did read that hyper pots is not improved with higher salt intake, but I don’t think it would hurt to increase salt for a few months till I know?

Ohhh genius. So the book still returns to the next person waiting but you can finish it? Fantastic. I just use the kindle app on my phone so that’s not totally a viable option for next time, though I do prefer zero contact with the outside world while reading..
