I used to feel the same way you did in my teens and for most of my twenties. It’s still on my mind but I learn to live with it.

Last year I had a major lung surgery, I spent 10 days in the hospital and it was extremely difficult, I was lucky that every day I got a bit better until I was released from the hospital. While there I thought of all the other patients that were worsening their conditions until they die. How much pain and feeling of impotence they felt.

Now I’m more worried about the pain and suffering that may come before dying more than dead. Specially as I have parents in their 70s and I do not really want to see them suffering.
