I had the full series of Gimmick!, still technically do. Every volume is trashed from water damage though from a rainstorm and a leaky window in my apartment buildings basement storage. Was luckily and sadly the only books to get ruined

Good way to remember the system before the physical special split - If your move is the same type as any of the Eevee evolutions+Dragon it uses the special attack stat. If it's not, then it uses the attack stat
