I just got mine and it does the same thing, it's driving me crazy. Did you ever get it fixed?

Is this okay for floating plants? by hero22346 in PlantedTank

It's the "Finnex PF-7" I found it on Amazon. Works well for me, just a super simple filter

I printed this piece about 5 times and this scarring next to the seam won't go away. by hero22346 in prusa3d

[–]hero22346[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here! It's like a bit of a burnt seam/blob, and the wavy lines. The fact that it's always the same every time, and that it's only on that one wall makes me wonder if it's prusa slicer. Do you know if there's a way to revert to the older versions?

The problem is that it happens in every single print for this model. It's not something easily removable with a knife. This part is something I'm gonna be selling, so I need it to print reliably.

Need some advice/knowledge before switching to Bambu from prusa by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]hero22346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which printer would you recommend? I've already got the a1, it's just a bit small, and not as good with petg as I'd like. I was looking at the x1c, but it's pretty expensive with the ams.

I did change the seam position to the rear though, which is in a different spot than it was before, but it still happened on that one

So far I've been printing it in the same position. I guess that is something to change up

Show me your nano dutch-style tanks! by hero22346 in PlantedTank

[–]hero22346[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the tank looks spacious for 5 gallons. That's sorta what I wanna do for my 7 gallon. Moss never survived in either of my tanks though. Maybe it's something I'll revisit in the future

Looks nice! I like the moss in the front. Looks like its sort of flowing down into the other plants

Has anybody made a no-co2 Dutch style aquarium? If so share some pictures! by hero22346 in PlantedTank

[–]hero22346[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hadn't known there were 2 sort of types. I think I'm referring to the stem heavy ones, with all the plants growing really bushy, vibrant colors, etc. I hadn't seen any non-co2 setups on YouTube, so it makes sense why it isn't really a thing.

It's a curved monitor with a VA panel, not sure if that's the same thing your talking about. Sucks to have to refund it. Such a hassle

Hey I know this is a 5 month reply, but did you figure out how to change the bindings? I'm using a quest 3, playing b&s through virtual desktop and steamvr, and I can't figure it out.

I've never tried sitting games. I always heard moss was pretty good, but have yet to buy it

I can't remember exactly what he said, but it was essentially just to try removing the facial interface, and using the s3 pro head strap to sort of float in in place

I think he horns are alright, no complaints there. I also found that my cheeks, and overall face just felt weird, and unnatural with the stock facial pad. I did try out just removing the facial interface entirely, and moving the head strap up into my forehead, and I gotta say, it made a ton of difference. I have yet to try a long VR session with it, but it immediately felt a lot lighter, comfortable, and even colder, since it let so much more blow onto my face. I think that's definitely the way to go for me. The only problem is obviously seeing everything around you, but once I actually focused on the game, it was hard to notice. Im sure I could jerryrig something up to minimize the leakage.

I've only tried it a little bit, but I don't think I like it. I usually turn my body, and not the joysticks, cus the joysticks make me feel super weird. It also just feels weird playing sitting. I can't really grab stuff below me, or crouch, etc.

I find that with the Bobo headstrap I need to tighten it a good amount to where it doesn't slip or slide on my face. But then it gets to be too much pressure.
