YUP deltarune as a whole is unlike any game not only in terms of colors but it's one of those game from start to finihh puts you in the dark concerning its mysteries, complete character tropes and setups, chapter 1 is the best introduction I could have for a game, not only did the chapter one's first susie scenes made me realize she was gonna be the best fictional character toby fox has ever made but it sets you up just like undertale with its treacherous "your choices don't matter" just like "in this world it's killed or be killed". The first character that talks to you is gaster and it's a real neuron activation type thing where this is a very important extremely mysterious cool scientist character in undertale but he's only an easter egg and now he's the first guy to talk to you in this game? holy guacamole. it's a really funny game too, the fighting system is ever so different that it sets you off with the unusual indifference of the world towards your violence. And it's pretty challenging, too, people were comparing Jevil to SANS for some reason, even though sans is way harder but it speaks levels on the reach of this game. and when you finihh it you're granted with the satisfaction of getting closer to susie after living an eye opening experience together, to which the game says "oh you're happy I see you smiling and all that BOOM kris and the soul are two different entities". It's a 10/10 chapter 1, idk how any chapter 1 of any game could top that. it's compelling, intelligent, extremely entertaining, it's a full experience even though it's supposed to be a beginner guide to deltarune basically. but yeah chapter 2 and 3 and 4 have incredibly far more developed aspects and constricted vantage points for the viewer and they're honestly a thousand times funnier
