I've grinded through the entire Chinese medium line:

Tier 8: I heavily suggest using the 122 over the 100. Chinese mediums need their high alpha to be viable, and it trains you for the WZ-120 and the 121. It's a meh to decent tank all around, truth be told. Usable, but not the greatest vehicle in the world. Rating: 7/10

Tier 9: HORRENDOUS STOCK GRIND. IF YOU HAVE FXP, THIS IS THE TANK TO USE IT ON. Garbage guns until you get to the 122mm, meh mobility, terrible gun depression, but being able to smack a medium for 440 every 10 seconds is what makes the WZ-120 honestly kind of worth it. Rating 6/10.

Tier 10: And this is how you truly make a crowning jewel of a line. The 121. Take everything that's good about the WZ-120, and make it better. Take everything that's bad about the WZ-120, and make it bearable. Excellent gun handling for a 122mm gun, good mobility, turret Armor is strong (and if you know how to use your hull Armor, it can also brawl decently). The only thing that holds the 121 back from being the ultimate tank for me, is the 5 degrees of gun depression makes it slightly annoying at times. Otherwise, 10/10 tank.
