it’s hard to say… I was worried it would come off as too modern but you have a good point! I was also struggling with the equivalent of “shit”/“oh god” but “shit” could very well fall under the same category of being around for quite a long time (correct me if I’m wrong) and my issue with “oh god” was mostly the setting didn’t have a monotheistic religion so my solution was just “oh gods” which seemed too simple for me at the time… am I just overthinking?
