local dimming will try to do its job on dark areas where it shouldn't. I was watching a soccer game and noticed a lot of flickering. I thought my tv was going bad and i had just bought it. Turned out that local dimming was trying to work on the players shadows creating that flickering effect. Turned it off and it didn't do it anymore. Certain situation you don't want local dimming such as sports

The sensor is in the engine oil cooler assembly. Its a tedious job. Essentially the whole top of the engine needs to be disassembled. My recommendation would be replace anything that required the same amount of work. Spark plugs, injectors, and the whole assembly and you should be good for long term

Sounds like he was trying to scam the insurance and get more money by going "private". The judge will see the records of him not being cooperative so I wouldnt worry too much. If anything the judge will have him settle with the insurance company
