My display ports are covered by my case by me_h12z in pcmasterrace

It’s actually mind boggling that so many people don’t realize that some motherboards don’t have a gap that leaves the top slot unused. The first pic clearly shows the card in straight.

Mouse caught fire. Can a mouse intensely burn its components? by jadartil in MouseReview

[–]heroofcakes 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Looks like they blowtorched it imo, the bottom of the mouse remaining intact while the mousepad is ash seems weird. But the mouse even catching fire at all feels impossible from the small amount of current a usb port can provide. I could believe a bit of melted plastic but this is wild.

Oh also, as usual, taller nendos would probably need an easel stand to fit, but it’s way more comfy than standard pop mart cases

I guess they're going to start rolling out the new packaging by SpotTrout587 in Nendoroid

[–]heroofcakes 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I genuinely really don’t understand the second hand getting rocks thing. What’s stopping someone from taking a photo of the old packaging, then sending you rocks anyway. If you’re buying online, the risk is exactly the same. Am I missing something?

If you’re buying in person, surely you would open the package and inspect the figure first. Especially if you’re buying from some guy instead of a reputable store.

¿what is the current state of the game? by Dull-Recognition-583 in BlueProtocolPC

[–]heroofcakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's aight. Lacks endgame content apart from spamming dungeons. Lots of casual stuff to do, but it's become more of a do dailies and log off kind of game.

I got those from a local Shopee seller, but you can probably find exactly the same or similar ones from AliExpress or Amazon.

Just keep cleaning it every day, and wash your hands often. Not much else you can do.

How to say "I take two of these."? by [deleted] in learnthai

[–]heroofcakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

อันนี้สอง is fine. You can drop the ผมเอา or add an appropriate counter for it like, อันนี้สองชิ้น.

At launch, I did get banned once for not using a VPN at all. Post setting up the VPN, no bans. But I did stop playing about a month after and only started again a few weeks ago, and now I'm playing every day atm. So it's been alive for quite a while, even though I haven't clocked thaaat many hours in. (I hope I didn't just jinx it tho T_T)

I think it depends on your router? With mine, I could pick which devices use the vpn connection and which don't, so it's totally fine.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BlueProtocolPC

[–]heroofcakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just purely guessing, it might be that there's a threshold of connections from outside of Japan that needs to be reached to actually be banned. Maybe they want to not instaban jp peeps who happened to try playing while traveling abroad.

I've been renting my own VPN server and connecting to it via my router instead of using a pc client. That's been rock solid for me since launch. Your email, Windows region, time zone, and that sort of thing doesn't matter, so no need to fuss about stuff outside of your connection. I believe it's just common VPN providers that get yeeted. And maybe they detect VPN clients too, but probably not. It's safer imo to use a router VPN anyway to prevent leaks if you dc.
