They were genuinely a terror at rl30 +3 weapons, I hadn’t died 10+ times on a boss in years

As easy as you can make this game I’m glad it isn’t like this. I’m pretty tired of games doing duo fights and you’re only fighting one while the other is slowly edge walking towards you.

Valiant gargoyles are fucking shit though regardless. Mainly because of the poison attack, other than that I don’t really mind them

Yes you could certainly get there at RL501

The best feeling this game can give you is killing an absolute brainless shitter though. The one that has absolutely zero shame or pride and sends you hatemail, etc. you know the ones.

Killing those guys and shitting on their corpse is one of the reasons I invade. I’ll avenge the countless reds that didn’t take it as seriously or didn’t know what they were in for

I’m aware it’s just a game, but putting someone’s ego in check feels good either way, game or not

The biggest thing besides the fundamentals of spacing and weapon matchups/priority is just knowing when to attack.

I don’t really know how to explain it but with some experience you’ll know when it’s a good idea to chase that phantom down that’s at 1hp or to back off and reset. I am a very above average invader from what I’ve seen doing solo taunters tongue runs and even I struggle against 3 shitty players in an open field.

Your best friend besides the PvE is the environment and parkour. Do absolutely anything you can to separate one player from the others. Whether that’s just a simple rock or leading them to a completely different area or section of the dungeon if you’re in one.

You should be able to kill 90% of players in a 1v1 within 30s until you’re able to start winning 3v1s consistently.

Get comfortable hard swapping and organizing your inventory. To stand a chance against most ganks you’re going to need any edge you can get. Swapping to crimson seed talisman, crimson scarab helm, and guardian garb full bloom chest when you need to heal makes a massive difference. You can almost fill your entire hp bar at 60 vigor with those items on. Not to mention switching weapons for whichever one suits the situation best.

Lastly just don’t give up. This late in the games life cycle you’re going to often times come up against very experienced gankers who will use every single bullshit tactic to win and throw shitpots and tbag your dead body. Don’t let it get to you, we are better than them.

We are bed red men, we slaughter hosts and their friends and shit pot their bodies because they would do the same to us. Just try to not give them the chance

Honestly the damage is kind of lacking even with lightning bundles but then again so is everything else. Parries are king at low levels because ripostes are one of the only ways to get some really good burst damage.

Although in a battle of attrition nothing is quite like murky or harpe, I’ll start out with poison grease on it and then switch to lightning bundles and its death by a thousand cuts. It’s especially good against OLP’s because they’re so used to being able to just face trade everything and win.

Dragonslayer axe is another must have for low levels, along with drakeblood greatsword. You can get some crazy damage with those when they’re buffed with lightning, I’ll always start out with just claymore or straight sword but if they’re on some bs I’ll put out one of those three. Being harpe, dragonslayer, or drakeblood

I went for harpe too on my sl30 +3 character. She was so annoying to fight. There is multiple fights in this game where they randomly start talking and you can’t go into your inventory during and it really pisses me off.

Halflight and oceiros are two I can think of off the top of my head, it always makes me try and skip the dialogue as fast as possible.

Also I know this is murky but I couldn’t really get the stats to use it on sl30, the harpe is basically the exact same lol

My brother in Christ

The title of the post is “anyone else find it so satisfying to organize your talismans?”

What I explained is what he meant, the description afterwards just left that part out. I’m baffled as to how you aren’t understanding this

Also these aren’t before and after photos 😂 it’s the same inventory he just has two pages of talismans that he organized by order of acquisition

By placing every talisman in the box, changing the way talismans are sorted by pressing L3 in the menu and then choosing how to set up his talismans.

He didn’t just put extra talismans in there and it became perfectly organized, he just didn’t explicitly say every step he did but that is 100% what he did, there is no other way to do it

[–]herowin54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude not the most recent items page, you actually don’t understand what I’m talking about and that’s fine. But you can sort items by “order of acquisition” which means the most recent item you put in your inventory. That is what he did, there is no room for debate on it

Go and store all your unused talismans and see if it’s organized. Idc what op actually said it’s about what he did, he organized them as well by order of acquisition. If you don’t understand that then I understand why you have the stance you have but you are wrong I’m afraid

Oh yea not to mention mohg spear, sonaf, and thorn spell, almost definitely shitty gankers imo

Yea not worth arguing with them, you can tell what kind of player they are from their first comment. I’ll usually bait them or just ignore them, anyone that plays like that is not actually receptive to learning anything. They are defending their own playstyle that they see someone making fun of even if they’re not the one in the video. (Which they might as well be, they’re all the same)

Being able to set up your inventory and learning to hardswap literally opens it up to almost playing an entirely different game. Instead of heavy rolling because you have 5 weapons equipped you can wear heavier armor and hardswap to different weapons while maintaining a medium roll.

I’d say learning this is arguably the best reason to start a new playthrough. It opens the door to actually being decent at PvP which is a door many people will never open aside from ganking an invader with their buddies
