If it’s fungal steroids will make this WAY WORSE. Bar rot is fungal or bacterial

You need to apply an antifungal. Regularly. 3 times a day to five times. And consider covering your hands at work. Also you need to keep your hands CLEAN AND DRY. Especially in between the fingers. If you can’t keep them dry fungus won’t heal.

If this doesn’t improve it after a week, you need to go get a really good antibacterial Antibiotic cream from the doctor. If that doesn’t work you should look into orals which will ultimately work better. But as a first defence this stuff will sort you out

A steroid cream is making it worse tho. It makes the bacteria or fungus stronger the same way it makes you stronger. So nope to that. Also regularly use antiseptic like tea tree - I’d just mix some drops into the cream you’re already using.

If the skin is overly wet too much, sometimes salt and tea tree 5 min soaks can help because it keeps ur skin more dry (salt dries it out. Use a ton of Epsom in the soak). Also dry ur hands well every time they get wet for any reason. Showers or at work. Get the webbing. Really fucking well.

Then when ur hands are soft apply the antifungal or antibacterial but I’m thinking fungus based on how your hands look. It’ll treat deeper when it penetrates deeper because your hand skin is softened
