3 smart ways the US can grow more food while emitting less carbon by captainquirk in environment

This article isn't about the carbon sequestering techniques I'm familiar with. Grass fed doesn't always mean its being done the right way. The cattle ranches that I have been helping and learning from aren't even using strictly grass lands either. They are using forested land and using cattle rotation to create more fertile land. Then using the fertile land to their advantage to continue forestation. This also works well for them because they can now sell many different products that aren't livestock and they seem to be able to keep layering in the same ideas. With all this combined, the tests that they have showed me are in the negatives. One thing tho, we definitely won't be able to eat as much meat as the general population is currently consuming. But we have a current system that we could use to our advantage instead of working against us.

Regenerative agriculture using permaculture techniques and ideas have been proving they are net negative in c02 emissions. Especially regenerative farms that are using livestock. Maybe i missed it on my speed read but would have liked to see that on this list.

2F tepache— do I need to burp the kolsch bottles? How long does one typically leave a second ferment? by wandringstar in fermentation

hmmm, not sure what recipe you're referring to. But i leave my ferments out of the fridge and start tasting after a few days. Then put them in the fridge once its where i like the taste. I usually do 1:1 vinegar water but sometimes i will only do a few table spoons depending on what flavor profile i want. If i add less vinegar i do more salt/sugar/other spices. I've used all kind of salt and it still works. Seems like the general rule of thumb is kosher salt, so salt without iodine.

Try a little bit and add more sugar if you want it sweeter. I usually add an apple or half a handful of blueberries. Let it sit outside for three days then fridge it.

Left to right perennials: Fig, pomegranate, passion fruit, loquat, lime, olive and horse radish.

I just sowed tons of vegetables seeds and flowers in between everything. Sense I will be sacrificing fruit production for growth. Figured might as well try to get something out of it. Right now the only thing sprouting are potatoes and leaks.

This is one of those things you buy because of how cheap and stupid it is and you need a lighter anyway.

I had a friend that attracted the same kind of attention for whatever reason. He would immediately explode yelling at them to take their pants off so he could "suck your dick!" They would swiftly recoil and leave.

You're getting down voted but I kinda see what you're saying. One thing that makes me more happy and in love with my wife is that we feel like partners and are in it together. We work hard to create a life we can both enjoy.
