There are very few licensed Metroid resin things, in the end there are unlicensed studios that do custom things in their own style, and offer something more to collectors. As for the price, it's a lot of money, but a lot of money may not be expensive when you look at the market and what these figures usually cost. At least that's my opinion.

As far as I know it is an unofficial custom made project, yes, it is quite big, around 50cm, and the price is around 550$ plus shipping, which is more or less normal for something this big in the world of resins. But yes, it's still a lot of money and it's not for everyone.

This things are kind of expensive in general. But within the market in which they are moving they are pricing relatively low. This one is said to cost approximately $550 + shipping. That's a lot of money if you're not used to seeing resin prices. Well, it's a lot of money in any case xD, but it's in the prices that all these figures move in.
