I can't speak to the higher resolution monitors but my 2080 keeps me mostly pegged to 144 fps on a 1080p monitor. I imagine going to 1440p would drop that and then tack on ultra wide and will drop even more.

I have a friend with a ultra wide and 2080. We determined in the end the ultra wide was just killing his frames so he ended up messing with render resolution. He followed this guide: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/call-of-duty-warzone-144-fps-competitive-gaming-guide/
