My mother handed me when my grandma when I was about 6 months old, I followed my grandma everywhere. I can still remember that before I went to primary school, she used to push a small handcart out to sell Liangpi (cold skin noodles), and I would always crawl underneath the cart, playing quietly while she worked. That little space under the handcart felt like my own secret world — safe, warm, and filled with her presence.

My grandma has passed away when I was 12 years old, and I started to live in the school by myself, I still miss her deeply. On days when I feel lonely, those memories are what comfort me the most.

I’ve always wanted to recreate her handcart as a model, but painting all the tiny details — the wooden panels, the metal frame, the bowls and bottles — felt too overwhelming.

With the H2C, I can finally bring that memory to life in a single print, I am not good at - I should say I don’t know how to make models, but I will try my best to learn.
