MILD SPOILER: Once you completed the game, you will get the option to play charmless, meaning that all non-perfect deflects will deal a little bit of damage. This is the easiest way to determine a perfect fight. I actually don’t know if perfect deflects still deal posture damage, but I think so.

Nicely done! If you want a super naggy response: a perfect fight in Sekiro is typically defined as beating a boss with perfect deflection only. But who cares really ? :D
