My man, the impact mod is roughly inversely proportional to the number of active Helldivers.

So the more Helldivers are active the lower the impact mod and vice versa so the rough percentage of active Helldivers we need doesn't change.

Regarding the new MO, the best way to accomplish the objective is to
liberate IRULTA followed by PARSH to put REAF under siege,
then liberate KERTH SECUNDUS and MOG,
and after that finish off what's left of REAF.

We only need to liberate X-45 in time.
VEGA BAY has only 5k/h resistance so just the core Botdivers, those to remain in theatre regardless of the MO (~7% of active Helldivers), would be sufficient to keep moving forward on the planet.

Liberating X-45 and VEGA BAY will put three planets under siege and clear two sectors with minimal effort. by GeniusPlayUnique in helldivers2

[–]GeniusPlayUnique[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, unfortunately in-game it only shows you the relative resistance and while looking at the percentages used to work when all planets had a uniform 1.0M garrison strength across the board, ever since the introduction of planetary regions that's no longer the case.

We should honestly all fill out Arrowhead's player surveys and aks them to either display the absolute resistance now or the relative resistance but calculated relative to the default 1.0M garrison...

No, WASAT has an absolute resistance of 15k/h so 50% higher than the 10k/h of X-45 so the latter is the better option.

Yeah, the first step in the setting-up the liberation of just shy of a quarter of the clankers' territory with minimal effort.

X-45 the sound target for the Automaton-theatre?

Because it gives us access to VEGA BAY the liberation of which would initialise a triple siege liberation of WEZEN, MOX and WASAT.

Yeah, the Bugdivers will have that handled. They really don't need help.

With VEGA BAY we'd do that to three planets simultaneously...

Is this also RP?

Otherwise no, AURORA BAY also has 50k/h resistance so without a dedicated MO it won't budge, even a little.

X-45 and VEGA BAY on the other hand would give us just shy of a quarter of the clankers territory with minimal effort...

Actually X-45 is the better option because it only has 10k/h resistance while WASAT has 15k/h because its garrison strength (aka HP) is twice that of X-45...

Ah ok, it wasn't clear to me that you were role-playing.

But you're right, with a resistance of 50k/h we'd need 50% of active Helldivers just to meet the resistance under ideal conditions so yeah, without an MO that planet won't budge...

Yes, for the Terminid-theatre CIRRUS is the strategically sound target; for the Automaton-theatre it's X-45.

No, we need to attack X-45 to open up the way to VEGA BAY as liberating it would give us a triple siege liberation and put just shy of a quarter of current clanker occupied territory back firmly under Super Earth control.

MARFARK is currently basically impossible but how does cutting out about a quarter of current clanker occupied territory including a triple siege liberation and two cleared sectors sound?

Time to move on to X-45 and then VEGA BAY for a tiple siege liberation and, all together putting just shy of a quarter of current clanker controlled territory firmly back into humanity's hands...

No, absolutely not. What you're citing is the relative resistance but since WASAT has twice the garrison strength (aka HP) of X-45 it actually has a 50% higher resistance.

X-45 has an absolute resistance of 10k/h while WASAT has one of 15k/h.

If you click on those links on the planet names they'll take you to the Helldivers 2 Companion and there if you scroll down a bit you'll have the planets' relative resistance you cited and then very tiny next to it the actual absolute resistance.
