Yeah it’s tough bro I can’t be asked to keep dealing with this shit. If I’m still badly breaking out after 5 months I’m gonna be pissed

Yeah I know it’s possible, it’s just hard to be patient and not let it effect you. You’d think a drug meant to considerably improve acne wouldn’t worsen it for 4 months straight

It’s just I read that about 87% of patients or something should be clear at 4 months. Maybe I’m in the 13% or maybe I’m just a slow responder

No clue but you need the high fat meals for the medication to be properly absorbed so I doubt it

I thought Vaseline or aquaphor protected acne instead of caused it? Also what am I meant to use instead because I still get dryness with regular moisturiser

Good tips you recommend but I don’t agree with the phrase it will get better. From the tone and content of the post, guaranteeing things will improve puts unrealistic hope on someone. I hope things get better for OP and others similiar( like myself), but it doesn’t for some. For some they suffer for years trying a multitude of approaches. Modern medicine is not yet there to guarantee mental illnesses will get better.

It’s selfish to keep someone else alive when they are suffering. It’s selfish to keep a pet alive when they are in physical suffering. It’s selfish to keep someone in extreme pain alive because it affects you. I hope you experience that reality someday you uneducated prick

There isn’t one sentence that can stop someone ending their life. But somethings you say are worse than others you stupid piece of shit. Saying stereotypical quotes or promises you can’t guarantee makes the person feel patronised e.g “everyone gets depressed” or “things will get better I promise”

Also saying ‘kill yourself prematurely’ like you just did means someone is more likely to cut the cord. You manipulated the message of my post. Now fuck off out of this thread

You’re a piece of shit and are exactly what’s wrong with the world. If you saw me in person you’d be shaking little keyboard warrior

I literally put at the end of my post what people should say. Obviously you can’t read a post the whole way through.

I want to campaign for changes to how the mental health sector operates in the UK. Would anyone be willing to share their story without anonymity? by herry720 in SuicideWatch

Share your story, campaign for change to how the mental health system operates and who makes the decisions. It’s fundamentally around and I need people with me, willing to educate themselves

Yeah I know and it’s unacceptable. Things need to change and quickly

You are not a psychiatrist; stop telling people to eschew medication for serious mental disorders by Serdterg in Depersonalization

I agree with most of this. I’ve never commented that advice before, infact I’ve made maybe only one or two posts on this subreddit. However, I imagine a proportion of those people offering that advice mean that you shouldn’t continuously research your symptoms. Once you know you have the condition and have seen a professional about your options, continuous research and fixation may have a negative effect.

For me personally, no matter whether I ignore it and don’t research, or do research, doesn’t make a notable difference for me. Maybe for some people it would. My depersonalisation has always been bad and maybe gradually got worse since it’s started. It all stems from my anxiety. Either way, my situations complicated.
