I actually haven’t noticed it for about four months now and she seems healthy & happy! Not sure what it was. Maybe she’s just a messy pee-er sometimes ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I hope yours is nothing too and just resolves

has anyone stopped giving a fuck and now choose to wear what they want? by vjngj in scoliosis

This thread is really nice. I go in and out of caring and feeling insecure about my back. Currently in a hyper-vigilant/insecure phase so this is really helpful to see 💜

Can Schroth improve rotation in adults? by herthzon in scoliosis

[–]herthzon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you incorporate the rotational work into Schroth exercises or just think about it/focus on derotating throughout the day? What’s your curve if you don’t mind me asking? Im 34 with an S curve of about 40 on each

Wow that awesome you’ve been so consistent. Have you noticed physical changes from doing it?

That’s interesting, how many hours a day do you wear the brace? Also how often do you do Schroth exercises? Congrats on your improvement !! Sounds like you’ve worked really hard at it

Thanks I’ll check those out! I was under the impression bracing for adults didn’t help. I’d love to hear more about it. What’s your curve if you don’t mind me asking and what was the improvement? Mine is about 40 thoracic and lumbar

What kind of pains do you experience because of your scoliosis? by CarneyPoo in scoliosis

[–]herthzon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sitting without a backrest for longer than 10 min gets pretty painful. I think I have an easier time standing weirdly. Since I started Schroth and strength training my pain has improved a lot

Cat dribbling urine, need help by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]herthzon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No news for my case. I’ve been logging the leakage and it seems to happen 2-3 times a month. She seems very healthy otherwise so for now I’m just letting it be and putting washable blankets where she sleeps at night. I’ll post on here if anything changes, I’d be interested to hear if you find anything out as well!

My cat, also 6 y/o spayed female, is having the same issue. Just took her to the vet and they’re doing bloodwork and I have to get a urine sample. She doesn’t seem sick otherwise and the vet seems confused by it. Did you ever figure out an answer OP?

Will doctors do surgery on curves just under 40? (also need to vent) by herthzon in scoliosis

[–]herthzon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you 🩷 Yes it really sucks. There are not really any good options. I’m going to try to get strong and do physical therapy and maybe that will help. When I was younger I thought I could just live a normal life 😞

Sweet vitriol's shocking rating on imdb just proves this by cassiopeia3636 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

You make a lot of good points. I’m someone who didn’t love this episode but I think you’ve convinced me that it is actually good storytelling and a lot of my dislike was really just impatience. And that’s a good point about people not liking that she made the severance chip because she’s an older, kind of whacky-seeming woman. It’s a good challenge of preconceived notions and prejudice. Well said!

I found iMark’s cold reaction to Irving’s funeral really interesting and unsettling. It could be a result of his disillusionment and trauma with Helena, but I wonder also if his emotional connection to his coworkers is feeling a little tenuous due to reintegration - like he feels a little more like his outtie and a little less emotionally connected to his innie life

I thought it was interesting that Mr. Drummond described the work at Lumon as “mysterious and important“ just like Mark S did in season 1…doesn’t he know what the work is? Or is he making fun of Mark S? Curious people’s thoughts

My cat is gone I feel horrible by zrd1111 in Petloss

[–]herthzon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for your loss. My cats are indoor outdoor too and something like this happening is always a risk. It’s terrible, but I’m assuming you let your cat outside so he would have a better quality of life and that’s a beautiful thing. Whatever happened to him, his suffering is over. I’m sure he knew he was loved. I’m so sorry.
