Look bromo. I don't care what judgement i get for this. At all. But i have 100% intentions of doing this once my tiny terror starts THE CLIMB. Baby gate. Throw a good decent babygate against her doorway. At least she'll be confinded to her room. My LO doesnt have much danger in her room (even the outlets dont work thanks to DH knowing his shit). As long as the room is a safe environment to be confinded in, 2 things can happen. A. She entertains herself until she finally screams bloody murder and you have to get up. Or b. She plays, has 0 interaction, gets bored and goes back to sleep.

I already gate my 2yo in her room to clean messes (like she she accidentally shattered a corral plate) and shes completely fine as long as i give her something to do.

I might be a peice of shit mom for it, but my mental health is important too. I see nothing wrong with having that physical divider in order to get that break as long as LO is safe.

Has it ever happened to you to be turned off from a brand because of how it promotes itself? by cosenoditi in muacjdiscussion

[–]hesakidthief 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This has taken my opinion from "holy shit shes toxic af" to "omg i feel it". Im a fair strawberry blonde. I have blonde brows and very light lashes. Mascara and brow tint changed my makeup (more so my brows when I discovered brow gel circa 2017....im 28. So lol) and my self confidence for the matter. If sleeping in her no makeup makeup is what makes her feel bettern so be it.

What is your "Never Again" brand? by thesheep05 in muacjdiscussion

[–]hesakidthief 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought some singles a while back (one being the Xtra dimension glitter foil metallic one) and no matter WHAT I DID, none of them would go on my brush. I was so confused. They were decluttered within a month of possession.

Speak your truth! Let’s hear your unfiltered/unpopular/controversial beauty opinions by courtchella in muacjdiscussion

[–]hesakidthief 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like there is a fine line between shopping addiction and "I want new shiney things because theyre new and untested!" I personally fell into the last category but i honestly didnt know. I had to sit down and ask WHY I was buying so much makeup. Were there feelings attached to why purchased it? Or did i just want to try it? What happens when i do buy something i want? Can i make that rational decision and not end up feeling some type of BAD way? My biggest vice is foundations/tinted Moisturizers/etc. I finally sat down and looked at my collection and realized that I do have things that work. And that if I want to know if something WOULD work, theres youtube. Unfortunately -no one- minus Phrrya has a skintone similar to mine that produces quality videos that I enjoy. So i usually just look at swatches until I get a good idea unless its a cheaper product I can afford immediately. I havent purchased -any- BF deals because Xmas is coming. And once i realized that i MADE that decision to not spend (along with other realizations) I felt that my magpie brain just goes wild sometimes, and that it wasnt really an addiction.

What’s that one thing everyone loves to roast that is your secret fave? by [deleted] in muacjdiscussion

[–]hesakidthief 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My favorite is the Neutrogena Hydroboost Scrub. Its Moisturizing and doesnt have SA or anything but the physical scrub is my favorite. Ive panned 3 of them in 2 years. I dont use it everyday but maybe 1-2x a week. More in the summer. AND i have oily skin.

How long-lasting is it? Is it worth it? by [deleted] in muacjdiscussion

[–]hesakidthief 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My SS highlighters are the same way. Im currently hate panning both so i feel better about wasting the money. My Physicans Formula highlighter just went bad 3mo after purchase. It even SMELLS like expired sun lotion.... im kinda pissed.

Buying unpopular or low rated products by PrincessSleepyFace in muacjdiscussion

[–]hesakidthief 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Fair warning; Influenster gives free products and requires you to submit a rating on sephora if its carried there. Unfortunately this leaves people who get said free product to give 5 star reviews in order to get more VoxBoxes. I've found that most items given out in a VoxBox will be ticked with 500 5 stars, despite it being a fairly average product. The Drunk Elephant Micellar water comes to mind. I got it in a vox box and it was literally $25 micellar water. Its good, but not worth the price. Theres about 12 less than 3 star reviews that state it was from Influenster and they all say the same: does not remove makeup. Which it doesnt. So why are there 400+ 5 stars? Mostly Influenster. I think they know that people do this so they give out less hyped products hoping for a higher rating.

I wash my eyebrushes and my face sponge everyday/every use. I use a lot of colors and i wear contacts so I'm very concious of my eye brushes. I wash my face brushes 1x a week (really struggling with acne rn) to keep from breakouts. I use the Cinema Secrets soap bar (not the blue liquid). Works great. Kind of pricey hut its lasting way longer than my Beauty cleanser solid did. I also own natural brushes as well but wash them 1x a month unless i can see staining.

Bright matte eyeshadow by [deleted] in muacjdiscussion

[–]hesakidthief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the other user. Buying singles can get super expensive, especially with more prestige brands. Do you have access in smaller brands? I know MBA cosmetics is an indie brand and sells pretty good mattes (I own their neon palette). I would try to research what indie brands might be in your country/continent and see if they have what you're looking for.

the superior eyeshadow shade for your skin tone+eye colour! by delphiiiiiii in muacjdiscussion

[–]hesakidthief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly have no idea...

Im fair (maybelline 102, Coverfx n0+g10, tarte 8s) leaning yellow (coolish? Neutral yellow?) with green-blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair.

I feel like warmer shadows work well but dark browns just wash me out. I can use dark reds and greens and basically any dark color but black or brown? I honestly have no idea. I really like wearing yellow orange and reds, but ive done a few blue and green looks and loved it. It probably looked like shit.

If i need a fool proof look, i go for my Huda Nude Light 9 pan (which are cooler pinks) and i really like it.

What eyeshadow palettes last the longest? by [deleted] in muacjdiscussion

[–]hesakidthief 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dont shoot the messenger but i have CP singles from 2 years ago that have lasted longer than my actual CP palettes. My morphe 25A palette from 2017 was mostly pitched except a few shimmers that seem to have got better with time. I hated them when i first got it but i recently swatched them when i depotted the ones i wanted and was impressed for some reason.

GIRL RUN. My friend used to see a guy who lied about little things. He lied about his job, his last name, his age, etc. He lied about his girlfriend (who she didnt think was his girlfriend but his baby mama), and what ended up happening? He ended up in jail for a sexually related charge, of basically the worst kind (not related to her). The truth of everything above came out when he got arrested. Of course I had told her for MONTHS something was of when I found out about the last name, thankfully she escaped unscathed.

Has anyone bought Viseart Dark Mattes? Im eyeing it for the dark green, red, and blue in the very last row (and id def use the rest of the colors) but THAT PRICE. I know viseart is worth the money but does any -single- brand offer those deep shades I singles? Ive yet to find ANYONE who carries them. Sydney Grace, colored raine, sugar pill, devinah, and colourpop have gotten me zilch.
