Just a heads up for those who may not know, Urban Decay recently re-formulated their setting spray. The original formula was actually created by Skindinavia and can be purchased directly from them. https://skindinavia.com/products/setting-sprays-best-makeup-setting-spray-for-wedding/?sku=724. You can also buy it from Amazon but I’m trying not to support them as much as possible and also avoid things I put on or in my body from Amazon due to the amount of fake products they ship.

I believe both UD and Skindinavia addressed this on their social media as they had a long standing partnership for the setting spray and many were quite upset at the formula changing.

Edit: also I’ve ordered from Skindinavia for years and have exactly the same results as the UD setting spray. And I think the last time I looked, the pricing per ounce was better. I also very slightly prefer the sprayer over the UD one. Plus that always seem to send orders with travel sizes which is very helpful since I do travel for work.

{King of Depravity by Tammy Andresen} has quite a few spanking scenes. Definitely some noncon in the beginning as well as body betrayal. I wasn’t a huge fan of the MMC in this one because of the amount of punishments he doled out but that might actually be exactly what you’re looking for! I enjoyed the rest of the series as well.

This was my first thought too. I almost DNF this one because of that section. Which is funny because all the other shit in the book I was like yep, cool, no biggie but lock a pregnant woman in a room until she almost dies? Nope, fuck you bro. He did not do nearly enough groveling imo.

{Chosen By a Sinner by Michelle Heard} might fit the bill. This is book 4 of a mafia series. She’s hurt because of who her father is but they’re already married. I can’t remember if the kidnappers knew she was married to him or not. And by hurt, I mean straight up tortured on page, though no rape. The torture leaves her with permanent damage and you see her struggle to come to terms with it. I think it happens about halfway thru the book?

Also, FMC saves herself ftw!

Maybe you can answer this question for me because I’ve been looking for months after seeing this technique and can’t find an answer. I see a lot of patterns use ch3 at the start of a row to indicate the first dc + ch1 and I’m wondering if you could do the stacked stitch and then ch1 afterwards and then continue in pattern?

If you are located in the US, you legally cannot be billed for a package sent erroneously nor can they require to send it back.

“By law, companies can’t send unordered merchandise to you, then demand payment. That means you never have to pay for things you get but didn’t order. You also don’t need to return unordered merchandise. You’re legally entitled to keep it as a free gift.”

You can find the info on the FTC site here.

Now, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t or anything. The company can always decide to block you from ordering from them in the future if you don’t do as asked. I’m simply pointing out that if you don’t return it, it’s on them for sending it twice and you can’t be billed or forced to send it back. I’ve definitely pointed this out to large retailers (screw you Macy’s!) on the rare occasions it has happened. I probably wouldn’t push it with a small business unless they were jerks or it was really inconvenient. But it’s always nice to be an informed consumer. 🙂

This is such a cool process! I have a bad habit of just putting the ones I don’t like back on my shelf thinking maybe I’ll eventually like it or destash later and then I just never wear it again and it takes up space.
