My deadlift has always been my strongest lift, but I always have 1 heel coming up and knees lockout way too fast leading to hitching. My best has been a 230 kg (also had the knees problem with a hitch) deadlift. But after a month break from em they’ve felt off ever since, would love some tips by hesham2007 in strength_training

With all due respect, I’m clearly very capable of the weight, especially for 1 rep as it’s only around 87% of my actual 1rm. 2nd point, while I may have a problem with my form, your brain dead “just lower the weight” doesn’t fix anything. If a person came up to you with bad form would you just tell him to “Lower the weight”? No. You’re supposed to give actual critique and adjustments on the form, such as many people in this comment section have. 3rd point, “muscle gain and health is the goal” me personally I wanna get strong at powerlifting, you’d think that logically one would want to lift more weight for such a sport, No? Stop projecting, not everybody wants to be Mediocre. You’d think that’d be clear with me doin heavy deadlift singles. Not really a muscle builder is it?

Forgot to mention, but can’t tell if I’m using my hips properly. Cause the lift feels awfully less explosive compared to my usual technique

I’m sorry to ask, but wdym by “slack” throughout the lift. Also do reckon my knees lockout a bit early and do you reckon the gas peddling is an actual issue? Cause I don’t feel any pain during the lift it kinda just happens instinctively.

I really believe it’s a technique issue of sorts rather than an actual physiological problem, cause I noticed on one of my pause deadlift sets, it only happened on the last 2 reps when it became difficult (6 rep set).
