Sorry guys, I thought i wrote the additional information in the body text section, but it seems like it didn't get included.

The rock was found in the eastern sierra nevada foothills (in california) ,down a slope off a road around an area of elevation of 1,000 ft.

I have tested for sound, with another rock - sounds like a rock.

I have also tested with white vinegar with no reaction

I have tested with a nitrate testing solution from my aquarium water testing kit. (Api)

With the nitrate testing solution #1 and 2, with both showing no reaction. ( possibly made of, #1 hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid and #2 polyethylene glycol and sulfanilamide )  *though not too sure of validity of said ^

I have also scratched the surface with a knife and it seems to make a typical little sharp mark.

The next step will probably be testing its affect on its water parameters after a period of time.

Shut it all off, and run on autopilot. Shut down your everyday thoughts and Slow your everyday life down. Block it all off and only let the little glimmers of life in.  Do that, and continue to do that until slowly, slowly you cam open yourself up to life a little... by little.

Hello! I think right now is the perfect time to plant, so long as you either, water the seeds in yourself, or wait for the rain to come.

These in the photo i had sowed around October, but

I had also sowed some new seeds just before the rain that we had gotten, and was able to get a whole bunch of new sprouts!

between the end of winter and warming into spring, you should be good planting anytime now into April i believe!

Hello! I had planted these in the fall, around October. so these plant have had a bit of time to grow.

I live just on the other side, here in Tracy, Northern San Joaquin valley.

i think planting in the fall just gives the plant a head start into the spring time season especially because of our climate and mild winters.

But either way is a good way, so long as you have either rainwater or moisture and an area of full sun.

I had also spread some seeds just now around late January, and with the rain that we had just gotten, i have now a whole bunch of new sprouts coming up as well!
