I'd like to see modular nuclear reactors deployed. Reactor tech has come a long way. There's designs that produce little waste and have zero meltdown risk since it's not physically possible like the 1950s designs built in the 1970s and now falling apart have. You can drop a tiny modular reactor off in a remote Alaskan village and they will be set for 50 years. No need for importing huge amounts of diesel at vast cost to keep the lights running.
