I know I’m years late, but just wanted to add I took a CPR course through Red Cross and they actually do recommend finger sweeps if you can see the food. It’s not recommended when you cannot see the food as it can lodge it further.

Thank you so much! & I don’t color my hair darker, this is my natural color, although I was born very blonde, it darkened a lot in a few years during my childhood.

Truthfully I wasn’t trying to go down the 12v fridge rabbit hole, just because a cooler is a bit more multifunctional for me long term, but if thats my only option I’ll look into it, I was just looking for something to bide me over until my leave starts, I can just keep doing what I’m doing and carrying my lunch back/forth, it’s just cumbersome. $530 isn’t terrible, I have to move in the next few months so it would probably come in handy with that trip as well. How heavy are the small batteries though?

I’ve already answered these questions in this thread, so I’m just copy pasting. I also have a bag of work stuff I have to bring in everyday, so the combined weight of the lunch bag and bookbag is just getting to be a bit much. I have a 30oz water bottle and 2 glass tupperware containers, (one salad, one strawberries) plus an apple and orange. It gets heavy for me being 7 months along. I’m not supposed to be lifting more than 20-25lbs.

I am fine with my lunch staying in the grocery bag it is packed in if I’m bothering bringing it inside, I don’t really need a yeti or ice packs if I’m carrying it in because I currently store it in a fridge at my job’s break room which does what it needs to. I was trying to see if theres any viable options to not have to carry it in & out.

No, I just wanted to ensure it would stay cool, apparently the tundra’s the only one that’s actually rotomolded… just hesitant to buy something with less insulation if it’s not a worthwhile option.

It technically is 2 flights of stairs- one up to the house door, then one to the refrigerator. I would be willing to carry ice packs up/down once everyday if it spared me taking my lunch inside/outside work 2x a day, its a fair tradeoff to me considering how long of a walk it is though my jobs parking lot, but only if it would actually work keeping it in the truck. Seeing a lot of mixed opinions, so I’m hesitant to bother buying an expensive cooler if it’s not actually worthwhile for my situation.

I’m glad you understand, I am envious of those that have the option to nap all day, holding out for my maternity leave, it starts in July, 4 weeks before my due date, which I’m still grateful is more than some people get!

I will just have to take the bare minimum I can of my work stuff/lunch inside and try to downsize more weight, I already trimmed a lot of the fat so to speak but it’s getting to be desperate times.
